Graduate Placement
Academic Advising

Wherever you want to go and whatever you want to do, one thing is for sure: King will get you there. We have a longstanding reputation for helping our graduates land in the best graduate and professional schools in the nation and in quality jobs in their major. Your advisor is also available to help you apply for graduate school admission and job placement.

But don’t just take our word for it. Consider the numbers:

  • An average of 90 percent of our graduates seeking employment during the past three years were employed within their major field six months after graduation.
  • Thirty percent of our graduates has gone on to graduate school during the past three years; 4 percent go to law school; and 3 percent go to medical school.
  • More than 80 percent are accepted into their first-choice graduate or professional school. (See list below for examples.)
  • Also, we count among our graduates more than 100 practicing physicians and more than 200 practicing clergy.
  • And most of our graduates don’t spend forever getting their undergraduate degrees: 74 percent of all King graduates (including transfer and international students) complete their degrees within four years. A 2001 U.S. Department of Education survey indicates that 31 percent of degree-seeking freshmen who enrolled in four-year colleges and universities earned a bachelor’s degree in four years. The sooner you graduate, the sooner you can move onto bigger and better things.
